Where can I buy it in Brazil? So hard to find
strapwarehouse.com ships to Brazil.
I don’t see this machine for sale on your site. Where can I purchase it?
Are you taking on work? 🤣 No but seriously
You will need to contact SewPro! :)
Just got my kit! So excited! Please add an instruction flyer with this link!
Thanks for the feedback! :)
hi there, where can i buy the heated sealing device? (3:59) and what's it called?
Please contact marlin@strapwarehouse.com and ask him about the sealomatic torches & hood and fans.
This material sucks It delaminates in a year
Hi, what material did you purchase? Did you contact your distributor to let them know about the delamination? BioThane should not be delaminating, so please contact scott@biothane.us to provide him the details so we can have our quality department look into this.
Do you have any hot stamp machines that you would recommend? Preferably a machine that can use foil as well.
Please contact marlin@strapwarehouse.com, he can give you the correct recommendation.
Could you standardize biothane prices on the European market? In Germany, a roll costs up to $120. It's crazy
Thanks for the feedback, we will share this information with our Distributor.
My fav colour ❤
Hello! What size rivets should I buy to use on the biothane beta 520 standard?
Hi, you can find this information in this video: ua-cam.com/video/QrNVTtwLWbc/v-deo.htmlsi=K8ZfQo3BVxOddYh7
so pretty!!
Thank you!!
Hi Marlin, Do you know what size snaps these are? I was sent snaps from Harness Hardware in Canada, they are 4 pieces and huge. I have no idea how to use them
Cap diameter is 9/16" and 5/16" Post for the snaps used in this video.
I Love the super grip colors! And the 1 1/2" standard weight beta will be perfect for making padded saddle breeching 😊
😃
I love the double grooved but can't get it in the UK.
Abbey England can order it for you, but there is a 1,000' minimum.
Will your punch fit my spindle ?
Contact marlin@strapwarehouse.com to ask.
do you ship in the Philippines?
Yes, contact marlin@strapwarehouse.com
What leather paint would work best with the sage color?
For the GN527 I don’t see a color that will match. My suggestion is to use Olive paint and mix in White paint. I did some experimenting with those 2 colors and was able to get a color that I think looks close enough to the Sage Green, GN527.
Hi Marlon, have you ever found a glue adhesive thar will stick two pieces of Biothane together. I use a lot of Biothane in the UK and it would be helpful to use in my products.
Sewing, riveting and welding are often the most common ways to attach BioThane to itself or another material. We don’t recommend gluing or have any supporting test data for adhesives to ensure proper a bond is created. There are just too many glues, object types, operating environments, BioThane products, etc. needed to fully validate an adhesive so unfortunately we do not have any official recommendations.
Why is the 1/8 chicago screw only sold with the open hole?
Please reach out to the strapwarehouse.com, they will be able to answer that question.
This was really helpful thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Rode 33 times (Name badges) 5 buckles ! Miss it so much, but got old, sold horse and mule.
Awesome video! Isn't there some sort of "clipper" available to trim the end of the collar, rather than using a punch?
Not that we are aware of. The tools in the video are the ones we recommend.
Where do you find the typical lengths to cut the Biothane from a roll of Biothane material for extra small, small, medium, large or extra large dog collars...?
All OEMs size similar but some can be a little different and with different width material. I recommend researching your favorite brands to see what sizing they offer.

Great idea! This adds a nice, professional touch
Glad you like it!
Can you show us a video on how to hand sew biothane with everyday materials? Like for example would I grab a large safety pin and pre drill holes in the biothane and then sew it? What kind of thread is needed? And is there anything I need to put on after so it stays waterproof? (So water doesn’t get in the holes that were created with the needle)
We will look into this idea and see if this is something we can do. Thanks for the video idea!
Would you have to use any top coat over designs (I know you said no for the ends but you did 2 coats which isnt possible for patterns). How durable is it once dried? I want to do dog collars for dogs who run through everything.
You can do a clear coat over designs. The paint without a top coat has good abrasion resistance, but an extra top coat would make it even better.
Soooooo exciting! Thank you for showing these in great natural lighting.
Glad you like them!
Could you please tell me the thickness of biothane beta, thanks
Please email scott@biothane.us. He will be able to help you.
Hello. I have a leather heat stamp machine, with adjustable temperature and now want to use my logo on my BioThane Beta dog leashes. I'm curious, what are your settings (time and temperature) on your machine?
You can use 243 degrees F as a starting point. The time is very quick, just a few seconds.
@@BioThaneCoatedWebbing Thnks. Gonna start with that.
Do the hold back straps come with the harness, or the cart? How are they tied on?
Please contact marlin@strapwarehouse.com. He will be able to help you.
If I want to start making half inch beta biothane multi function leashes and cat and dog collars, what tools do I need to get started? For now, I want to do it for my own dog and cat, but if I'm able to get good enough at it, then I may do it on a small scale for others, as well. ....I am limited on funds, so I am curious what is the best most cost effective option available, right now.
The hole punches in this video are an economical way to get started. Contact Marlin at the strapwarehouse.com.
How did you get the print on the collar? So cute!!
The collar with the paw prints is sublimated. You can UV print on BioThane products too.
I want three dog collars made. Anyone with a hobby kit that's interested send me a message we'll talk price.
I'm looking for a punch for heavy duty, but cloth/webbing, hunting leads and collars. Could this work on those, even though they do not have bio thane coating? The leather punches I have do make the messy holes in them, just like in bio thane. A very helpful video regardless, but I think your trying to say your punch has a bevel, just a different one compared to the leather punches.
We believe you would have more success using these punches over standard leather punches even on an uncoated product, but we have not used these on an uncoated product. The bevel creates less pulling of the fiber and more cutting when pushed through the material.
Does getting the set include the centering thing, or us that a separate purchase. Thanks
It is included in the small business starter kit found here: strapwarehouse.com/small-business-starter-set/. It can also be purchased separately here: strapwarehouse.com/handyman-accessories/.
is fishing line made of this material?
Not that we know of, but maybe that's a new use for us to look into?
🤭🤣
😃
Do you have a website for overseas orders
No, you can call them if you would like to learn more about their Fabrication Services.
Hello, unfortunately the Angelus Olive shade does not match the Military Olive (OD521) BioThane shade at all. Do you have a tip if there is a possibility to get closer to the Biothane colour by mixing?
Hi Stephan - You can try and mix Angelus White paint with the Angelus Olive to get a closer match.
@@BioThaneCoatedWebbing Thank you. Do you have any experience about the mixing ratio to match the Biothane Olive colour as closely as possible?
@@EdgarWallace I mixed a few drops of Olive then 1 drop of English Tan and it gives it a better color than the olive mixed only with white. You can always add a small amount of white to the Olive/English tan mix to help make it more of a match. Hope this helps!
Heck yeah Marlin! Better IS possible and Biothane USA is certainly The Best! Excited to try this for a Big Dog Collar as well. Reversible textures would be fun. And belts sound like a great Xmas gift as well don't they? Thanks for sharing this! 👍
Thank you for your kind words! We are excited for you to try this new profile!
Looks great, I have a question if I may. What do you do with the cut ends of your strap/belt as mine shows a light coloured web. Does it need to be heat sealed? On the cut ends?
Hello Disco3 Land rover, It’s really personal preference on finishing the cut ends and many choose to leave the webbing exposed. However, if you want to take your project to the next level, you can finish the ends by painting them with a leather paint. This will provide some additional protection to the webbing while at the same time hiding it too. We have seen the leather paints leave a cleaner, more finished looking end Angleus Paint Video If using heat, please reference the Beta product safety guidelines from our FAQ page Thanks for watching!
Great instructions, but alot of background noise

Is the paper with the collar on somewhere to find so I can print it?
You can purchase the kit to get the paper version or you can google dog collar templates.
How lang do you make the collar and where to start with holes and how mutch place in between the holes?
The length of the collar depends on how big the dog is. There are dog collar templates that you can find on google.com.
